pretty S P R I N G ads

While reading through the new, almost 600 page Vogue, I found this BALENCIAGA ad and died over every single piece of this outfit.

The combinations are unique and totally creative.  I love the texture of the pants along with the structure of the blazer and the detailing of the button-down's collar.  This outfit is totally unique with a formal, menswear top mixed with a retro-summery bottom that makes the entire look so feminine - it's a really interesting style that I'm loving.  And how could I not love the houndstooth print of the bag - roll tide!

LOVE your hair

I have a ridiculous amount of hair and with all the heat styling i do, i've constantly been on a search to find a strong hold hairspray that actually keeps my hair in place while still allowing some flexibility and i finally found it!

after literally spending 20 minutes in Kroger reading and analyzing every hairspray bottle that they carried, i decided on Bed Head Hard Hold Hairspray by Tigi

($16 at most drugstores and supermarkets; $9 on Amazon)

and i absolutely love it! 

spring break w i s h e s

Naturally I view spring break as my time to revamp my wardrobe.  These are a few picks that I'm dying for!

a.n.t.h.r.o.p.o.l.o.g.i.e.

I've developed a recent obsession with a slub knit.  I have this top in navy and it's SO comfortable.  The peach would be perfect for spring! I love the paneling and the 3/4 sleeve has a dolman shape that is perfect.

I had a pair of shoes like these freshman year that got ruined but these are so pretty.  i love the combination of the suede of the wedge with the leather detailing of the flowers.

g.a.p.

If you know me, you know that i LOVE white denim for spring.  I was looking for some skinny legged white jeans but found these and LOVE the cropped look, especially with some nude wedges.  The material has a slight sheen which makes them look nicer but also gives them the ability to be dressed up or down - not to mention that they're GAP jeans which are my obsession.

s.t.e.v.e.m.a.d.d.e.n.

It's been so long since i bought a pair of wedges but these immediately caught my eye.  I love the combination of neutral/nude with the delicate metallic banding.  These scream spring!

It's been too long! These are my current jewelry obsessions for February. With partial thanks to Rachel Zoe, these would look fabulous with the newest additions to my wardrobe - a royal blue blouse and (faux) leather jacket.
